AET Automotive Website Refresh
Redesigning and rebuilding AET Automotive was one of those projects where I got to wear multiple hats—and I loved every minute of it. Not only did I handle the engineering and design work for the homepage, but I also created all the video content featured on the site. It was an awesome opportunity to blend technical problem-solving with creative storytelling.

The redesign started with a dynamic hero section. I engineered this section to immediately grab attention with a bold headline, a high-quality video I produced, and strategically placed call-to-action buttons. The video content was optimized for fast loading using compression and lazy loading techniques, ensuring users stay engaged without sacrificing site performance. This section became the centerpiece of the homepage, effectively communicating AET’s mission to transform dealership marketing.
Each service offering—Creative Studio, Inventory Studio, and Email Studio—was showcased in dedicated sections designed to be both visually engaging and easy to navigate. These sections use modular React components, making them reusable and scalable for future updates. To enhance credibility, I incorporated a testimonial carousel featuring videos and quotes from satisfied customers. This dynamic element was built to be responsive and lightweight, providing social proof without slowing down the site.
To ensure a seamless experience across all devices, I adopted a mobile-first design approach. The responsive layouts were meticulously tested to look and function beautifully on desktops, tablets, and smartphones. Call-to-action buttons, like “Schedule a Demo,” were given prominence in the mobile design to reduce friction for users on smaller screens. Every interaction on the page—from video plays to button clicks—was tracked through custom analytics events, allowing AET to gather actionable insights and continuously improve user engagement.
In addition to the development work, I created all the video content featured on the homepage. The hero video serves as a high-energy introduction to AET’s offerings, while service explainer videos break down each tool in a concise and engaging format. I also shot and edited customer testimonials, pairing them with motion graphics to align with AET’s branding and make the content feel polished and professional. These videos were strategically placed at decision-making points across the page to guide users naturally toward taking action.
The project came with its challenges, including balancing the use of high-quality video content with fast page load times. I optimized every video asset using modern formats like WebM and carefully tested the integration to ensure the site remained fast and responsive. The design itself required multiple iterations to find the right balance between aesthetics and functionality, ultimately leading to a homepage that converts visitors into customers.
Looking back, this project exemplifies my ability to deliver a complete solution—design, development, and content creation—all tailored to meet the client’s business goals. The result is a homepage that is not just a website but a powerful tool for lead generation. Check it out at aetautomotive.com.
